Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of AdvertisingMCP (the "Service"), available at advertisingmcp.net, published and operated by Anderseen OU, a company registered in Estonia ("we", "us", "Anderseen"). By creating an account, generating a connector URL, or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
AdvertisingMCP is a connector tool. It implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) so that AI assistants and AI agents — including but not limited to Anthropic's Claude — can read data from, and where you explicitly authorize it, make changes to, a Google Ads account that you control.
The Service does not include, and we do not provide:
- marketing advice, financial advice, or investment advice;
- management, custody, or control of your Google Ads account, advertising budget, or any funds;
- any guarantee about the outcome, accuracy, profitability, or appropriateness of any audit, suggestion, keyword, ad, or campaign produced by an AI assistant using the Service;
- employment, agency, or a fiduciary relationship of any kind between you and Anderseen.
We connect the pipes. The AI assistant interprets your instructions and decides what to do. You decide what is allowed to happen in your own Google Ads account, including by setting permissions in your AI client and by reviewing what the AI proposes before approving any change.
2. Your Google Ads account stays yours and under your control
You access the Service by granting a service account — either our default one, or your own, where we offer that option — standard-user access to your Google Ads account, and by generating a personal connector URL ("Connector URL") from your dashboard.
You are solely responsible for:
- keeping your Connector URL confidential. It functions like a password. Anyone who has it can use it to act on your connected Google Ads account through the Service, subject to whatever permission settings exist in the AI client they use;
- the access level you grant the service account in your Google Ads account, and removing that access when you no longer want it connected;
- the settings you choose in your AI assistant, including any "always approve" or auto-approval setting, which determines whether the AI asks for your confirmation before taking an action;
- reviewing what an AI assistant proposes before approving any change to your account, and for any instruction, prompt, or approval you give it;
- any consequence of your Connector URL being lost, leaked, shared, or compromised, including unauthorized use of your connected Google Ads account by a third party who obtains it.
You can revoke access at any time by removing the service account from your Google Ads account directly in Google Ads, and/or by regenerating your Connector URL in your AdvertisingMCP dashboard, which immediately invalidates the previous one. We recommend doing both if you believe your Connector URL may have been compromised.
3. AI-generated output is not reviewed or guaranteed by us
Audits, keyword suggestions, ad copy, campaign structures, budgets, and any other output produced when an AI assistant uses the Service are generated by that AI assistant, not by Anderseen. We do not review, approve, or guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or commercial outcome of any such output before it is presented to you or, where you approve it, written to your Google Ads account.
Where the Service exposes built-in guides or benchmarks (for example, suggested ROAS ranges or negative-keyword lists) for an AI assistant to reference, these are general starting points based on our own experience and are not tailored advice for your business, market, or account.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving any change before it takes effect, and for the business decision to enable, pause, fund, or scale any campaign — whether created with the help of the Service or not.
4. Built-in safeguards, and their limits
Certain protective defaults are built into how the Service creates campaigns — for example, new campaigns are created in a paused state, and new campaign budgets are capped at a level you can configure. These are engineering safeguards intended to reduce the risk of unintended spend, not a guarantee against loss, misuse, or error.
You remain responsible for enabling, disabling, funding, and monitoring your own campaigns in Google Ads, and for the security of your Connector URL and your Google Ads account access as described in Section 2. Google LLC, not Anderseen, controls and operates the Google Ads platform, billing, and ad delivery.
5. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect data associated with your account, including encrypting sensitive credentials (such as API keys) at rest. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, interception, or disclosure will never occur. We do not store your Google Ads performance data, keywords, or ad content; this data is retrieved live from the Google Ads API on each request and is not persisted by us.
If you become aware of a security issue affecting the Service, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid access to the Service is offered on a prepaid basis. When you subscribe, the corresponding period (month or year) is added to your account's current valid-until date. Subscriptions do not auto-renew; if you do not subscribe again before your valid-until date, your paid access simply ends, and the Service may restrict or disable the Connector URL until you subscribe again. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- access a Google Ads account you are not authorized to access;
- attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the safeguards described in Section 4;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or the Connector URL mechanism without our written permission;
- violate Google Ads policies, the Google Ads API Terms of Service, or any applicable law, including advertising standards and consumer-protection law in the markets you advertise to.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, for any account we reasonably believe is being used in violation of these Terms.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any output produced by an AI assistant using the Service, nor the availability or behaviour of third-party platforms we connect to, including Google Ads and any AI provider.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Anderseen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost advertising spend, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service;
- Anderseen will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to or use of your Connector URL or your Google Ads account, except where that unauthorized access resulted directly from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
- Anderseen will not be liable for any action taken, or change made to your Google Ads account, by an AI assistant or AI agent based on your instructions, your approval, or your account's permission settings;
- our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service, however arising, will not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Indemnity by Anderseen (limited)
This is a connector, not a managed service: we are not in the chain of decision-making for what your AI assistant proposes or what you approve. Accordingly, except as set out in Section 9 regarding our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, you agree that Anderseen is not responsible for losses arising from decisions made by you or by an AI assistant acting on your instructions or approval.
11. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third-party platforms, including Google Ads (operated by Google LLC), AI providers such as Anthropic, and optionally OpenRouter for image generation. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, or any changes they make that affect the Service.
12. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update the Service, including adding, changing, or removing tools and features, at any time. We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Service after a revised version is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where we reasonably believe continued access poses a security or legal risk to us or to other users. Sections 2, 3, 5, 6 (with respect to amounts already due), 8, 9, 10, and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
15. Your privacy
Please read our Privacy Policy for details on what information we collect and how we use it.
